About Greg

I grew up in a small town in Western Massachusetts.. East Longmeadow to be exact. For the most part my family "squeezed" by financially, struggling in the rat race. When I was eight, my parents got divorced; and my brother and I were raised mostly by my father and we would visit my mother every other weekend.

So, my father was raising us, putting food on the table while struggling in his own business as a carpenter. I remember being younger thinking I never wanted to have to deal with such a struggle, running around in fear of not having enough money to support my family or even worse - lose my job! So I always knew I'd follow in my father's footsteps and OWN my OWN business, set my OWN hours, and make my OWN money.

Growing up, throughout many years, I helped my dad with his custom remodeling business. As a kid, it was great spending money on the weekends and it gave me a great sense of accomplishment and independence. As I was learning through my experiences while working for my dad, it developed my business morals of being an honest, straight forward kind of person with the highest integrity in customer value. It was here, while working with my father, I learned NOT ONLY what it takes to succeed in your own business; BUT IN LIFE, as well.

While still working with my father during the day, I got my first "real" job was as a dishwasher at a local restaurant.. it didn't take long until I moved up the "ranks" as a server and eventually a cook. As most people know, the restaurant business can be pretty labor intensive and frustrating at times, so I still have the utmost respect for what servers/chefs go through.. and they're compensated accordingly.

"I'm a cowboy baby!"

Then, in April 2006 I got a job with Federal Express. It was a good job with decent pay at the time, but I knew in my heart I had bigger dreams and aspirations that I couldn't let die! A year a half later, in November 2007, the company was positioning all employees through a temp agency, meaning no more benefits! (I guess they were rewarding all their hardworking employees with a little early Christmas gift!) Realizing I was stuck in a dead end job, I started weighing my options... I knew there was always potential in e-commerce, and I was interested, so I went there. I started with online business in February 2008, still working for FedEx while building my business.
Kickin' back at a friends house in 2008.

In October 2009, through the success of my primary online business and other different streams of online income, I was able to quit my J.O.B... and what a GREAT feeling that was is STILL is today!
